Pan de muerto is a sweet yeast bread made with flour, eggs, butter, yeast, sprinkled with sugar on top. It is also seasoned with orange blossoms and orange zest.

Mexican hot chocolate is made by grinding cacao nibs, sugar, and cinnamon, and has a more granular texture than what most Americans are used to.
